Hello my name is Ellie Steer, I founded Sensory Space UK in 2020. I have 7 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist and over 12 years’ experience working with young people, adolescents and adults with learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, mental health needs and sensory needs.
I have worked in the NHS and independently. I have worked closely with local authorities, schools, workplaces, solicitors, charities and families to deliver comprehensive occupational therapy and sensory assessments and therapeutic interventions. I am passionate about empowering others to be the therapist in their life or job role; therefore, I offer many training packages for schools, parents/carers, young people, other professionals and workplaces. My work is mostly focused on sensory integration however, I use a holistic approach to practice considering your mental, emotional, cognitive, social and physical needs.
I have seen over the years how occupational therapy (OT) changes people’s lives.
