I have an in-depth understanding of complex orthopaedic and trauma, amputee rehabilitation, hand therapy and splinting, palliative care and housing design and adaptation. I have worked with clients with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and am trained and certified to deliver manual handling training and assessment to clients, carers and staff.
I am a Senior Occupational Therapist with extensive experience of clients requiring rehabilitation following illness, accident, injury or trauma. I can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. I provide coordinated and supportive care early on in the client's journey, including information on managing symptoms, assistance with accessing social care and benefits, assessment for and review of specialist equipment, housing, and environmental adaptations.
