DESIGNATE is a unique Health focused Inclusive Design Service combining Occupational Therapy and Interior Design. Based in Bristol but available UK wide we create beautiful spaces for living and working in the Domestic and Commercial Sectors, specialising in Multi-generational Living, Lifetime ‘forever’ Homes’ and Live- In Care. Committed to ‘dignified aspirational 21st Century living' wherever possible we resolve the challenges of disability, from minimal difficulties (eg early onset arthritis) to complex needs (eg catastrophic injury or end of life care), by using main stream products in preference to disability specific equipment. Fully holistic assessments and designs are undertaken by a highly skilled Occupational Therapist who is also qualified in Professional Interior Design. The Consultancy is dedicated to empowerment therefore we place the client at the heart of the design. Working directly with the client, family, carers and associated agencies we create colourful décor and practical, safe exciting non-clinical environments, tailored to the individual's choice, that meet current and future needs, encourage social interaction and inclusion, contain the wow factor' and add value to property. At DESIGNATE we aim to ‘make functional fabulous' so also offer Consultancy Services to assist companies in the design and marketing of new and current products. Referrals are accepted from the public and professionals. Our Service is particularly relevant to Individuals, OTs and medical professionals, Charities, Case Managers, Personal Injury Solicitors and Deputies, Architects Equipment Providers and Manufacturers
