Sally is a Consultant Occupational Therapist with over 29 years of experience working across the UK and internationally in A&E, NHS hospital settings, intermediate care, the voluntary sector, higher education, post-doctoral research, and independent medico-legal practice. She specialises in complex brain injury rehabilitation and case management, including physical and cognitive impairments, dysexecutive function, challenging behaviour, mental health needs, substance / alcohol misuse, and forensic backgrounds. Covers South East Region.

Committed to continuous professional development, Sally has completed both a Master’s degree and a Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She has also worked as a Senior Occupational Therapy Lecturer and Research Fellow. Her practice is grounded in Occupational Science, focusing on enabling individuals to engage in meaningful, purposeful activities that promote health and wellbeing through creative and personalised approaches.

Over the past 12 years, Sally has further developed advanced expertise in Case Management. She supports clients to restore, develop, and maintain functional abilities and quality of life across home, work, and community environments. She is passionate about working collaboratively with clients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and legal professionals to design tailored, client-centred rehabilitation programmes that foster hope, realistic goal-setting, and re-engagement in life.

Sally is highly experienced in functional assessments and report writing, care planning, risk assessment, care costings, and goal setting. Her expertise includes neurorehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, independent living trials, and the training and management of support worker teams. She also provides mentorship, supervision, research and education input, medico-legal consultation, and works closely with statutory services including GPs, Social Services, Mental Health Teams, Police and Probation services.
