Sally has over 22 years Occupational Therapy expertise working in the UK and overseas, within NHS primary care, community intermediate care, education and research, the voluntary sector and in independent practice helping to rehabilitate those with life changing neurological, physical and mental health needs.
Sally has always endeavoured to enhance her knowledge and practice having gained a further Masters degree and Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She has also spent time working as a Senior Occupational Therapy Lecturer and Research Fellow. Her practice is grounded in Occupational Science, enabling and empowering individuals to engage in healthy, purposeful and meaningful activity through creative means.
Over the last 8 years, Sally has advanced her skills in Brain Injury Case Management, continuing to support clients to restore, develop and maintain their functional abilities, health and quality of life through meaningful activity in the home, workplace and wider community. Sally's passion is working in partnership with her clients, their families, co-therapists and legal teams, to establish client-centred rehabilitation programmes to enable everyone to collaboratively support the client to achieve hope, determine realistic goals and to live life once again.
