In my years of professional practice, I have worked in a range of settings including NHS, community, school based and private practice. I enjoy the flexibility that independent practice offers, allowing the time to build strong and trusting therapeutic relationships with the children I support and their families.
I specialise in supporting neurodivergent individuals (both diagnosed and undiagnosed) of primary school age working to achieve goals around independence and self regulation, supporting children to celebrate their strengths whilst building their skills through a playful approach. I like to work collaboratively with the child, alongside their parents / carers, teachers and, if appropriate, other professionals to maximise the impact of my work.
I specialise in a Sensory Integration approach and have qualified to an Advanced Practitioner level within this field. I have also trained as a Sleep Practitioner with the Children's Sleep charity; as a mum of 3 young children myself, I understand how much disturbed sleep can impact not only the child but the whole family!
I currently work within a clinic style set up in OX2. Please note that my current availability is limited to term time and within school hours.
