Clemency is a highly skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist who specialises in Sensory Integration. With over 14 years of experience, Clemency is passionate about supporting children to maximise their potential. She has gained vital experience and knowledge, treating children with a wide variety of conditions and needs including global developmental delay, developmental coordination disorder, genetic disorders, acquired brain injury, sensory processing difficulties, autism, and ADHD. Clemency visits children and their families across the UK.
Throughout her career, Clemency has worked across statutory roles and within the private sector, developing skills in a range of settings. She has worked extensively within the state and private special schools sector and held the position of Deputy Head and Occupational Therapy Lead for a special school for children with autism. She is experienced in completing school-based assessments as well as producing statements and reports for Education, Health and Care Plans.
Clemency strives to make each assessment and treatment session play-based and fun, through the use of age-appropriate toys, games and meaningful activities.
To further develop her specialist skills, Clemency obtained her Post Graduate Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration in 2020 and completed training in Civil Procedure Rules in 2022.
