Find me at: The Recovery OT, on social media platforms. I have 14 years experience working with a range of health conditions and I am a specialist in Stroke rehabilitation. I am skillful in providing assessment and intervention, which can include, but isnt limited to: Upper limb rehabilitation, hand therapy, Cognitive assessment, falls prevention, frailty prevention, alongside support with returning to hobbies inside and outside of the home. I am able to provide advice on seating and equipment provision. I can provide assessment and reccomendations around activities of daily living including: self care, domestic tasks and public transport.
I am accomplished at focusing on goal based interventions specific to a persons wishes with agreed time frames. I can provide advice and support to families and carers. Working in people's homes is a privilege and placing a person at the centre of the care is my priority. Im also happy to visit residential settings. I provide a responsive service with no waiting lists. I relish working with those who wish to resume there independence.
