I have worked in various clinical settings. In-patient settings include (but are not limited to) A+E, trauma and orthopaedics, vascular, stroke unit, palliative care, chronic respiratory unit, medical high dependency ward and ICU. With vast experience in poly-trauma, amputation, brain injury and spinal injuries whilst working in the community. I am a clinical expert in Assistive Technology and was previously the Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist for Environmental Controls (EC) for the West Midlands Region. Supporting people with their AAC and EC needs due to communication difficulties and complex physical disabilities. I currently work as an independent Occupational Therapist and a Case Manager
I use my specialist clinical knowledge and experience to complete informed, detailed assessments and maintain a positive mindset, which helps me navigate client complexities and achieve individualised, goal-focused rehabilitation plans.
I create a safe and respectful space, where individuals can express their thoughts and feelings openly, enabling trust and understanding while addressing delicate issues with care. I believe a strong rapport is built from trust and reliability and am a dedicated advocate.
