Hi I’m Charlotte, a qualified Occupational Therapist with close to a decade of clinical experience working across NHS services, rehabilitation units, community services and palliative care.
I bring specialist clinical knowledge and hands-on experience supporting older adults living with a wide range of health conditions, reduced mobility, frailty, and rehabilitation needs.
I help individuals maintain their independence, build confidence, improve their wellbeing, and safely participate in the activities that matter most to them. This specialist clinical experience means I understand the physical, cognitive, social and emotional challenges that can affect participation and know how to adapt activities to ensure everyone can engage successfully.
I am passionate about making movement accessible, enjoyable, and achievable for everyone, regardless of age, ability, health condition, or confidence level.
I deliver group or 1:1 movement and wellbeing sessions, each thoughtfully designed and adapted to meet the needs of the client.
Sessions may include: Functional and creative movement Falls prevention techniques Sensory activities Reminiscence Mindfulness techniques Meaningful occupation Cognitive and social engagement activities
I offer training and upskilling workshops for other Occupational Therapists who have an interest in using dance and movement as a therapeutic intervention.
I also work collaboratively with community services and charities, and offer professional advice and consultancy to organisations seeking an occupational therapy perspective.
