I have done additional training in Sensory Integration, Sensory Attachment Intervention, Sensory Defensiveness (including the Wilbarger Protocol and Sensory Diets), Sensory Modulation, Praxis, Handwriting Without Tears, Social Skills (with Alex Kelly) and Mindfulness for Children. I have experience in carrying out Occupational Therapy assessments and treatment in school, home, and clinic settings. I have specialist skills in paediatric assessments and treatment, including sensory processing difficulties. I am skilled in writing reports detailing the assessments, outcomes, and treatment recommendations, including reports for Education and Health Care Plans (EHCP). I am actively involved in writing and presenting training sessions for parents and school staff, which include but are not limited to training on sensory processing and fine motor/ functional difficulties.
