I am a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist with over 20 years post qualified experience working in both NHS and community settings. I have worked independently since 2011 for both self funding clients as well as case managers and solicitors,
I support adults with complex needs and have extensive experience in moving and handling, housing adaptations and specialist equipment provision, including seating. I am experienced in providing moving and handling training to family and carers, as well as working as part of an MDT to provide rehabilitation, aiming to increase function due to disability or injury.
I strive to work closely with clients to ensure the best outcomes possible. I enjoy working with clients from the initial assessment, to identifying goals and recommendations, through to implementing the agreed plan and ensuring needs are met to everyone's satisfaction. I take pride in providing a thorough and holistic service to the people I work with and aim to enable individuals as much as possible.
