I qualified in 2010 and spent almost 9 years working in the NHS in a wide range of hospital services before specialising in stroke and neurology. I have worked in private practice since 2018 treating people in their own homes. I provide therapy and rehabilitation for sleep, personal care, domestic activities, leisure activities, work and study, cognitive and memory problems, falls and mobility, fatigue and pain management, life balance and healthy lifestyles. I have specialist training in cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia and health coaching.
I can provide rehabilitation following a period of illness or time in hospital to help you back to your normal routine. This can include increasing activity levels, strength, balance and mobility, improving memory and cognitive problems, grading and adapting activities as you progress, reducing your dependence on equipment and small aids, optimising sleep and lifestyle to support recovery, pain and fatigue management, and skills for self-management of health conditions.
For older adults who are worried about losing their independence as they age, I can help you plan and remain active and independent for as long as possible. This can include maintaining activity levels, strength, balance and mobility, falls prevention measures and home safety, optimising sleep and lifestyle for health, advising on equipment and small aids, coping with memory and cognitive problems, managing pain, fatigue and health conditions, and supporting mental wellbeing and loneliness.
I offer home visits in South Buckinghamshire or online appointments if appropriate throughout the UK.
