I have over 25 years experience working with children and young person's in special and mainstream schools, family homes, clinics and child and adolescent mental health services. I have worked with a range of difficulties including ADHD, Autism , Tourette's Syndrome, Developmental Co-ordination disorder (dyspraxia), sensory processing disorders, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, anxiety and depression. I have also worked extensively with children and young person's who have suffered early adversity, trauma and neglect.

I am able to provide specialist assessments of sensory processing , gross and fine motor skills, visual perception, planning and organisation and daily living skills including dressing, toileting, domestic and handwriting skills. I plan and carry out individualised treatment using family centred, motivating and age appropriate activities.

My aim is to improve the child and young person's self regulation, emotional well-being, functional independence and optimise learning at home, school and in the community.

I am passionate about working collaboratively with parents, carer's, school staff and other professionals to support the child and young person. I am committed to maintaining and improving clinical practice by updating my knowledge and adhering to evidence-based practice.
