With over 23 years’ experience, I specialise in neurology, including brain injury, stroke, and long-term progressive conditions.
Using person-centred approaches to overcome cognitive, physical, and behavioural difficulties associated with a client’s injury, I provide assessments and intervention to address activities of daily living, vocational rehab, leisure, seating and wheelchair needs, upper limb skills, equipment and environmental adaptations, fatigue management, anxiety and stress management.
I am experienced in medico-legal field, working closely with clients following complex, or catastrophic injury to achieve greater independence, satisfaction, and quality of life.
I’m passionate about OT, with a flexible, creative, and professional approach, working with all life stages including young adults and their children, working age, and elderly clients.
I work with wheelchair and seating companies, providing thorough assessments and provision of specialist equipment.
My clients include case managers, solicitors, corporate companies, care homes, private individuals.
I maintain close links with statutory and non-statutory services to ensure my clients have access to the best and most appropriate services for their needs.
I am a team player and work closely with the MDT and family members.
I provide both in-depth thorough OT assessments and hourly rate appointments, dependent on your needs.
Committed to my profession and my professional development, I attend training on a regular basis and participate in peer support.
I am a member of HCPC, and RCOT, including the Specialist Section in Neurology and Independent Practice.
