I am a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist with 20 years of extensive clinical experience working in various settings, including Advanced Clinical Practice. I am passionate about helping people optimise their ability to do the things they want and need to do ‘occupations’.
My encouraging and caring approach focuses on the person as a whole, considering physical and mental health, assessing needs and providing tailored treatment to optimise full potential, achieve personal goals and focus on overcoming specific obstacles in life.
During my career in Occupational Therapy, I have worked in acute hospitals and community services; inpatient/community rehabilitation services; acute therapy/recovery post-surgery; neurology/stroke; community intermediate care, day hospital/falls service, 6 years in mental health (community and inpatient) and more recently adult social care and Reablement.
In addition to my clinical career, I have 3 years of experience, skills and knowledge in Talent Management roles with NHS England and NHS Trusts. I am passionate about taking care of those who deliver services to the people we serve. I am keen to offer consultancy to organisations, design and deliver workshops for employees (e.g., career development workshops) and for senior leaders/managers with a focus on designing, implementing and embedding Talent Management throughout their organisations.
