Hello, I'm Anna. I am a specialist occupational therapist and sensory integration practitioner. I support mental health and holistic wellbeing through accessible interventions, based in sensory integration, somatic and polyvagal informed approaches.
My occupational therapy practice is guided by my profound interest in the body’s sensory and somatic wisdom, supported by my continually growing training and experience working in these areas. I am fascinated by how our external and internal senses shape how we understand ourselves and our body, interact and connect with our environments, derive meaning and heal.
I work with clients from as young as 11 through to adulthood.
I provide specialist sensory assessments. My assessments are designed to support self-understanding and will include strategies which will enable you/your young person to engage in everyday activities. I can also tailor assessments to support legal documents such as Education Health and Care Plans for young people or work-related accommodations for adults.
I deliver in-person interventions based from a beautiful studio space in Burscough, Ormskirk, drawing upon sensory integration, somatic and polyvagal informed approaches. My interventions sessions are practical, experiential and can be more accessible for clients who struggle to access talking-based therapies.
