Alex Jones Ltd

Alex currently provides highly specialist rehabilitation to clients with complex clinical needs including brain injury, complex trauma, and amputation. She is a current practicing Occupational Therapist with very high skill levels in observation within functional assessment and the impact that any injury may impose on an individual. Alex can also identify appropriate professionals and those rehabilitation needs that may be met through treatment and or adaptation of environments in order to reduce and or remove the dependency on others. Alex has worked within the NHS, Ministry of Defence and private sector and the variety of these settings has provided her with those skills and abilities to communicate on a multitude of levels and think a little more ‘outside the box’ to create something more personal and fulfilling for her clients. Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist, Alex has developed some excellent core skills which include, professionalism, listening, thinking on her feet, leading, prioritising, and these have all been useful to bring to the field of case management. Realising her own practice in yoga and meditation, grounded a lot of knowledge and deciding to formalise it to become a trained yoga teacher, allowed for a further development in this area for her clients with acquired and traumatic brain injury, other complex injuries and someone without injury to strike the balance of understanding the general populations gain for yoga and meditation from east to west.
