I am an experienced Occupational Therapist with 10 years of experience supporting adults across community, hospital, rehabilitation and social care settings. Through Quiet Confidence OT, I provide personalised occupational therapy assessments for adults who may be experiencing difficulties with mobility, daily activities, transfers, falls, accessing their home or maintaining their independence. I take a practical, person-centred approach, taking time to understand what is important to each individual and their family. Following assessment, I provide clear recommendations aimed at improving safety, independence and quality of life. I can provide support with functional assessments, mobility and transfers, moving and handling, equipment recommendations, falls prevention, home adaptations and rehabilitation. I can also support families who are unsure what equipment, adaptations or services may be appropriate for their loved one. Assessments are available within the home, allowing me to understand how the individual manages within their own environment and provide recommendations specific to their needs. I aim to make accessing occupational therapy straightforward, supportive and reassuring for individuals and their families.
