Aimee C Occupational Therapist

I am a specialist neurological occupational therapist based in Cambridgeshire, supporting people with stroke, brain injury and other long-term neurological conditions to regain independence at home and in their community. I offer specialist assessment and rehabilitation in face-to-face and online sessions.

I work holistically, looking at your whole situation to understand your needs. Together we agree meaningful goals based on your daily routines, roles and values, and work towards them.

Using evidence-based practice, my support may include upper limb rehabilitation, memory and attention strategies, visual strategies, fatigue management, falls prevention, equipment recommendations, building routines, return-to-work support and retraining everyday tasks such as dressing, cooking and personal care.

I complete occupational therapy assessments and write reports with practical recommendations. I liaise with other professionals to provide joined-up support.

I consider both the short and long-term impact of a neurological condition on everyday life. I also support families and carers to access community services. I aim to motivate and empower individuals to use practical strategies that rebuild confidence.

I have NHS neurological experience in London, including Level 1 neurorehabilitation at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (UCLH) and the Camden Stroke and Neurology Service (CNWL). Wider experience includes rapid response, older people's services, discharge to assess, and inpatient mental health and rehabilitation.
