Rising Horizons

With over 14 years of clinical experience, I am a highly skilled Children’s Occupational Therapist dedicated to supporting children and young people to achieve meaningful participation, independence, and wellbeing in everyday life. Since qualifying in 2012, I have worked extensively across both the NHS and private sectors, developing specialist expertise in delivering high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services for children and families.

I hold postgraduate qualifications in Sensory Integration and have been integrating Sensory Integration (SI) principles into clinical practice since 2013. My approach combines advanced clinical knowledge with a compassionate, child-centred philosophy, ensuring that every intervention is tailored to the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each child and family.

As a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and a registered practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice, ethical care, and continuous professional development.

I specialise in comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and holistic intervention planning for children and young people presenting with a wide range of developmental, sensory, motor, and functional difficulties. I work collaboratively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals to create practical, achievable strategies that support children across home, education, and community environments.

Using SEND principles of provision, I provide specialist guidance to schools in implementing Universal, Targeted, and Specialist interventions in line with EHCP outcomes and recommendations. My work is focused on empowering children, supporting families, and enabling educational settings to create inclusive environments where children can thrive.

I am passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering thoughtful, personalised support that reflects the individual needs of every child and family I work with.
