Sarah Blundell 's profile

Sarah Blundell DipCot Registered with Health and Care Professions Council. Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapists

I have over 25 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist specialising in housing adaptations, equipment, seating and activities of daily living.
I am keen to assist people and their carers to maximize their abilities and independence and to promote their well-being in their home environment and in care home settings. I will visit you and carry out a detailed assessment with you, discuss your goals and will provide a report and recommendations and advice to assist you. If you require assistance in obtaining quotes or carrying out joint visits with representatives I can assist you with this too. I can also advise re minor adaptations such as grab rails, stair rails, half steps etc and can provide a service to fit these items. My interventions have included recommendations for stairlifts, throughfloor lifts, level access showers, kitchen design, ramps, wash dry toilets, ceiling track hoists. I also work with Housing Authorities on designing new build properties for disabled and elderly applicants. Whether you are an older person beginning to experience difficulties with your day to day activities, or someone who has experienced illness or injury which is impacting your daily routine, I would be very happy to discuss how I may be able to help you. Please contact me either by email or phone and I will be very happy to discuss your requirements.
