I work with those who have barriers to learning, playing or joining in everyday activities such as reduced coordination, poor concentration, difficulty in keeping up with their peers or underlying medical conditions (cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, developmental coordination disorder, autistic spectrum condition, epilepsy, learning difficulties).
I also have a keen interest in assistive technology (computer access, augmentative and alternative communication, virtual reality in rehabilitation)
Since qualifying in 2003 I have worked for the NHS in both Surrey and at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. I currently work part-time for a charitable organisation and work as a private occupational therapist for 0-16 year olds in Surrey / Kent borders.
I am a member of specialist interest groups; the Children, Young People & Families, Access (AAC/AT) Group, ASD Forum.
