I pride myself for the positive outcomes that I have achieved throughout my career, plus my experience working within the NHS setting and with 3rd sector organisations, of which I founded and ran my own community initiatives. I have been awarded the MBE in 2009, also gained 6 regional and national healthcare awards, for the work I have pioneered within the mental health setting. In 2018, I lead on setting up the rehabilitation community activities pathway, from hospital to community living, within the forensic male and female units, and was awarded the Clinical Employee Of The Year from the trust, for the work I carried out. I support a wide ranging client group from people with anxiety, depression and work-related stress, to people with psychosis, drug induced psychosis, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, personality disorder, severe and enduring mental illness, learning disabilities, complex needs and forensic backgrounds. I have worked in forensic units, acute and rehabilitation wards and community projects. I offer an holistic approach with you as an individual, you are central to the tailored treatment plans that meet your individual needs and support you in achieving your personal goals. I provide assessments, reports, treatment plans, consultation, work-place training, support to return to work (for employee/employer), vocational rehabilitation, life skills coaching, stress and anxiety management techniques and more.
