I have worked within NHS and Education over the past 15 years within children and adult services. I also work with children with complex sensory needs, applying Ayres's Sensory Integration.
I have worked in community and inpatient settings, including; colleges, schools, homes, therapy service, forensic acute assessment and rehabilitation wards.
I have worked with service users with a range of complex health and social needs including; - Learning Disabilities, including a range of syndromes - Sensory processing difficulties - Behavioural difficulties - Mobility/posture problems, requiring equipment - Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) - Poly-substance misuse - Severe/chronic mental illness - Worked within the Forensics, Criminal Justice system with Service Users sectioned under the Mental Health Act 1983
