Elizabeth MacDonald 's profile

Elizabeth MacDonald Registered to practice with the Health and Care Professions Council since 1986.

Occupational Therapy Scotland (OT Scotland)

I set up OT Scotland to provide a wide range of services for people of all ages who want to make some kind of change in their life. We have extensive experience helping people with autistic spectrum disorder, dyspraxia, sensory processing issues, dementia, memory problems, physical disability, long term conditions, pain, fatigue and issues related to the ageing process.

We can for example help you to: - maintain or improve your independence or that of a relative; - create environments where you can thrive; - keep active and as independent as possible living at home or in a Care Home; - maintain your independence and confidence after a diagnosis of dementia; - assess your safety and help prevent a fall at home; - identify additional support needs for a child in school and liaise with education staff; - help you to develop your personal sensory profile and find strategies for everyday issues; - prevent pressure sores when you can no longer move around unaided.

We can also provide assessments and reports to: - - help your GP diagnose adult dyspraxia - support your applications or Appeal for PIP or DLA benefits.

Please call me for a free no-obligation discussion as to your needs and I will do my best to assist you.
