I am an occupational therapist who lives in Wiltshire with many years experience of working in the NHS.My background is in mental health and have worked on inpatient units and in the community. I am keen to promote a persons well being through enabling them to do the things they want and need to do to be able to live their lives they way they want too. I am a co director of a small company that specialises in dementia but have experience in working with others who have been finding things difficult in daily life. I am able to offer advice on equipment and small adaptations including telecare products. I will visit you in your own home at a time that is convenient for you and carry out detailed assessment of your needs and strengths. My passion lies in enabling a person to stay at home and carry out their meaningful activities and enrich their life choices. I am also experienced in working with care homes to help with smooth transitions into care and making meaning matter by working with care staff to understand a persons story. otbuddies can offer and work collaboratively to provide bespoke training to care staff. otbuddies recognise the different aspects of care giving and empowering a person to live their life to the full. Otbuddies have had experience of working with service families who are experiencing ill health due to environmental issues and have been able to assist with home assessment reports.
