Alison Biggs Alison qualified with BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy in 1993. Her notable post graduate training has been in the Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluation system, Workplace Ergonomics and also in BSP Neuro psychological standardised assessments for cognitive functioning. (Level A and B). Healthywork Ltd provide services across the UK. All of the associate occupational therapists or psychologists are fully qualified and registered with HCPC and are trained in Healthywork Ltd service procedures.

Healthywork Occupational Health Services include Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Risk Assessments: for prevention of discomfort and management of health needs in the office environment. Ergonomic Workstation Assessments: for those with health needs, e.g. back or neck, arm, hand issues, requiring a more in-depth assessment of a workstation or other work role area, such as a car seating assessment etc, in order to implement reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.

Functional Capacity Assessments, using a standardised assessment, the Matheson System from USA, which incorporates independent standardised tests, eg dexterity tests manual handling ability tests, assessing tolerances to postures such as standing, sitting, walking and other postures, such as low level working (kneeling, squatting etc) whilst also evaluating whether the individual is giving reliable information and good effort.

Cognitive Assessment: using standardised Neuropsychological tests to assess memory, planning, attention and other cognitive function.

Mental Health Assessment: establishing what the health needs and the work situation are, in order to make suitable recommendations for the circumstances.

Vision or Hearing Assessment in the workplace in order to identify reasonable adjustments.

Career Redirection Assessments: to identify skills and training in order to plan future career and job opportunities.

Work Rehabilitation & Return to Work advice: Graduated Return to work hours plans can be designed as well as more complex input etc as required.

Training sessions for users in Manual Handling and/or Office Ergonomics.
